Privacy Policy

How Jerba Technologies, TOO handles personal data on its website and in the mobile and web apps it publishes.

Last updated: October 5, 2026

Scope

This policy explains what personal data Jerba Technologies, TOO (“Jerba Technologies”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan, collects, why, and what choices you have.

It applies to the website at jerbatech.com and to the mobile and web applications we publish under the Jerba Technologies name, including those distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play (together, the “Services”).

Some apps may publish an app-specific addendum describing data that only that app processes. Where an addendum exists, it supplements this policy and takes precedence for that app.

Data we collect

We collect only the data needed to provide and improve the Services. Depending on the Service you use, this may include:

Information you give us

  • Contact details, such as your name, email address or phone number, when you contact us or create an account.
  • The content of messages and support requests you send us.
  • Account information, such as a login name and settings, where an app requires an account.

Device and diagnostic data

  • Technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, language and time zone.
  • Crash reports and performance data that help us find and fix problems.
  • Basic server logs, such as IP address, request time and browser type, when you visit our website.

Data needed for an app's features

Some features need additional data to work, for example location for a map or tracking feature, or camera access to scan a code. We ask for that data only when you use the feature, and where your device requires it, only after you grant permission. You can withdraw permission at any time in your device settings.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data, such as health or biometric data, unless an app clearly requires it, explains it in an addendum, and you agree to it.

How we use data

  • To provide, operate and maintain the Services and their features.
  • To respond to your questions and support requests.
  • To diagnose problems, keep the Services secure and prevent misuse.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the Services are used so we can improve them.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We do not use your personal data for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.

We share data only in these cases:

  • App stores. Apple and Google process data when you download, buy or update our apps, under their own privacy policies.
  • Service providers. If an app uses analytics, crash reporting, hosting or similar services, those providers process data on our behalf, only as needed to deliver their service. The specific providers used by an app are listed in its store listing or addendum.
  • Legal requirements. When disclosure is required by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan or another applicable law, or by a valid request from a competent authority.
  • Business changes. If our business is reorganised or transferred, data may pass to the successor, which will remain bound by this policy.

Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires. Account data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete or anonymise it, except where we must keep certain records to meet legal obligations. Diagnostic data and logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections, access restricted to people who need it, and keeping our systems up to date. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will act promptly if we learn of a security incident that affects it.

Your rights

In line with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Personal Data and Its Protection” and other applicable laws, you can:

  • Ask whether we hold personal data about you and get access to it.
  • Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your data, or delete your account where an app offers that option.
  • Withdraw consent you have given, for example to a device permission.
  • Object to or ask us to restrict certain processing.

To make a request, email us at . For deletion, use the subject line Data deletion request; the Support page explains the steps. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the authorised personal data protection body of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Children's privacy

Our Services are not directed at children under 13, or under the minimum age set by the law of your country, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Where data is processed

We are based in Kazakhstan. Some service providers, such as app stores or cloud services, may process data in other countries. Where data is transferred across borders, we do so in accordance with applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our Services or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. If a change significantly affects how we use your data, we will give notice on this website or in the relevant app.
